Fight with Facts: Donald Trump Has No Proof of illegal Votes

Over the weekend and just in enough time to distract me from the Black Friday buyers remorse that usually sets in a few days after I’ve overspent on non-essentials, Donald Trump took us all for a spin on one of his afternoon twitter rant rides. Apparently, he was a bit taken aback by the projection that he is going to lose the popular vote by over 2 million votes and the lessons in conceding respectfully that we all learned in kindergarten went well over his head…again. Even the more recent concession of his running mate, Hillary Clinton, where she called on her supporters to “give him a chance to lead” was not an example that he could follow.  He tweeted, “In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.”

Though this is a common place for the President- elects unfounded tantrums and unsolicited outbursts, I am starting to wonder at what point do we as citizens hold him accountable for

continuously vomiting statements that have no fact or evidence to support them.  The fact-checkers are working overtime to keep up with him and could probably reduce loads of stress and work hours by creating a quick-key  for “wrong” in response to much of what Trump says …[Ctrl + Alt+W = Wrong]; but that would reduce them to the level of ignorance that warranted Trump to respond with a simple “stop it” when 60 minutes’s Lesley Stahl mentioned the harassment from his supporters toward minorities.   I would expect the President-elect to speak more directly and with more authority as leader of the free world.

With that being said,  I won’t stoop to the  level of simplicity and unawarness that is Donald Trump. I won’t call him delusional because I agree with Chris Cuomo’s encouragement to news journalists and concerned citizens (like myself) to fight with facts. On his YouTube channel, Chris used Trump as an example of how not to handle opposing opinions. He stated, “If someone has an opinion that you disagree with, don’t call them a dummy, find something that makes what they say not true.” Now if only someone could deliver that message to Trump towers.

The truth is that there is no evidence of voter fraud.  It’s likely that he is referring to a group of fake news outlets or conspiracy theorists  that claimed he won the popular vote. Like him, they had no evidence either and are trying to overshadow Clinton’s victory.  Trump wrote “”Serious voter fraud in Virginia, New Hampshire and California – so why isn’t the media reporting on this? Serious bias – big problem!”

…Because you are delusional  Mr. Trump. It’s not real. You sir, are an idiot. Sorry Chris,  I digress to the petty Kim that is stuck on how we allowed this man and his right-wing homies into Washington.

*Rolls eyes* …and now I give thanks for the retail therapy that preceded this foolishness.
